Tammy Cain

Tammy has dedicated nearly two decades to helping others reach their full potential. With an exceptional background in counseling, she walks with people through difficult times – like trauma and terminal illness – or everyday life pressures. She even works as a suicide negotiator! Her renowned youth ministry leadership at the International House of Prayer Ministries plus her pastoral counseling commitment with Awaken Ministries have made this possible for many individuals today. Through empowering relationships, Tammy nurtures those around her towards thriving rather than just surviving in hard moments; what an inspirational individual!

Tammy has a huge heart and backbone of steel. This became evident at an early age when she saw the grit, patience, and hard work her parents put into their welding shop business – inspiring in her a great appreciation for manual labor! She rose to the challenge athletically throughout school as well; with her parents encouragingly cheering on from the sidelines every step of way. When it came time for them to take end-of-life journeys, this tight family bond strengthened even more. Fast forward many years later: after completing doctoral studies in Clinical Pastoral Psychotherapy from The University Of Theology & Spirituality while also pursuing national board certification as a pastoral counselor – Legacy Christian Church presented Tammy with ordainment papers which were gladly accepted by International Fellowship Chaplains too!
